I like nickles and have almost a complete collection back to 1866. But I have lots of fun cherry picking rare coins from circulation and I make good money selling them on EBay. Check out this link for good information on pocket change.

I have a gold coin that is only about 1/4" in diameter. It has a St. Gaudens print on the front. I assume the eagle on the back though it is in packaging. It looks like a replica of some sort and I can't make out the date on the front, but it looks like 1908.

Try ebay and set a price that you would be happy with to sell. If you dont get it then the cost is very minimal.

The $ 20 is the value stamped on the coin.

BAR/SCRAP/BULLION is simply to cause the auction to appear in a search that contains any of those words (key word spamming).

Believe me when I say I looked all over. I found one auction sale for $ 405, and the rest you have to register to find out any more info. Nowhere did I find population/mintage. There is a book you might find some information in, and it seems to be fairly recent. I believe the Jean Elsen website may be of some assistance even though it appears to be in Belgium. I hope this helps.
